Biography

Chen Gang, Department of Plastic Surgery, Jiangsu Province Hospital of Chinese Medicine, Chief Physician and Professor. He graduated from the Second Military Medical University and has nearly 20 years of professional experience. He has successively worked in the Department of Plastic Surgery, Jinling Hospital Affiliated to Nanjing University Medical School; the Department of Plastic Surgery, Shanghai Changzheng Hospital; and the Department of Plastic Surgery, Zhongda Hospital Affiliated to Southeast University. He has visited South Korea, Taiwan, and other places for academic exchanges multiple times.

Research Achievements: He has led and completed multiple provincial and ministerial-level research projects. His doctoral dissertation won second prize in the Shanghai Reconstructive Surgery and Microsurgery Young and Middle-aged Physicians Outstanding Paper Competition and second prize in the National Microsurgery Young and Middle-aged Physicians Outstanding Paper Competition. He was awarded the Second Prize of the Science and Technology Award of the Chinese Medical Association. To date, he has published more than 30 academic papers as first author in core journals. He has participated in compiling and translating 3 monographs. His doctoral research focused on body surface organ reconstruction and facial rejuvenation.
